Party Packages and booking time slots

What time should I book my Entertainment time slot

We recommend you book in our entertainment to start at least 30 minutes after the time you’ve invited your guests to arrive.  

However you know your friends best, if most are 1hr late, book us to start later, so your friends don’t miss out on the entertainment you’ve booked.


What if my guests are late, when will the entertainment start

We can offer you a 10 minute grace period.  As our entertainers often have back to back bookings and they can’t be late for their next booking.  So please help us to help you by planning your timings in advance.  We’d hate for your guests to miss out, but we do have responsibilities to next birthday child.


Are the balloon twisters/Face painters, etc. the entertainers or are they specialist artist

They are quality specialist artists, so can work at the same time as the other games entertainers.  


When should I book the balloon twister/face painter if I have also booked other entertainment

If you have booked a show, we recommend you slot them in before or after the show, to get value for you money.  Otherwise they could be sitting waiting for kids to finish watching the show and you’ve wasted your money. 

If you book a games party they can be booked in at the same time or staggered.


Can we split the entertainment time slot up

We perform/entertain for a continuous period.  If you want to place a break during our entertainment time slot we will mingle and chat during that time, but it is still included in the time you’ve booked us for. 


When should we organise the Cake cutting Ceremony

We recommend we host this in the last 10 minutes of the time slot you have booked us for.  Yes we can host the cake earlier, but then you are paying us to watch the kids eat.

Note: Please make sure you have the cake, candles, lighter & knife (remote for air con) are on stand by and ready to go 15 minutes before the end of our allotted time.  If the walk to your apartment is 7 minutes across your condo and 7 minutes back again, please plan for that in advance.


Bubble Shows

 

How much time does CJ need to set up for her Magical Bubble Show

20-30 minutes


When will CJ arrive to set up for her Magical Bubble Show

She’ll arrive 30 minutes before her show starts to set up.

She’ll already be in costume, so will be able chat and interact with your guests as she sets up.


Is Cj’s Magical Bubble Show messy

No.  Cj will bring a plastic tarpaulin 3m x 2.5m to lay down under her performance area.  As she is controlling the bubbles, she can for the most party control that they land on the protective sheet.

How much space does CJ require for the setup of her Magical Bubble Show

3m x 3m cleared space again a solid wall.  With the furniture moved back against the walls so guest can sit down on the floor in front of her performance space


Where’s the best place to set up CJ’s show

Against a solid brick wall, so kids can’t run behind and knock it over, plus away from air con units. 

FYI - if placed in front a glass wall - all your photos will be backlit by the light coming in behind her and the face of your guests will be dark.


Is CJ’s backdrop free standing

Yes.


Why is CJ’s backdrop black, it doesn’t match my décor.

It's so that you can take great photos and videos of the bubbles; especially when CJ places the birthday celebrant inside the huge bubble.  

Light, bright & colourful backdrops compete with the colours of a bubble, cancelling them out, so they won’t show up in your photos.


Why do we need to turn off the air con units during CJ’s Magical Bubble Show

Bubbles are very delicate and susceptible to the movement of air flow around them. CJ requires still air to create amazing sculptures for your show.

Please turn off any fans, close doors/window (they create drafts) and adjust the air cons.

She might need to only turn off 1 unit or adjust the vanes down or up over her performance area.

CJ will do an air flow test while she sets up to determine the best position to place her performance area.  


What do I need to provide for CJ’s Magical Bubble Show

The remote controls for the air con units.

If your condo security won’t leave them in the room for us, please ask them to switch them off 10 minutes before the show, and return at the end of the show to turn them back on. 


Can CJ arrive before my party starts so my guests don’t see her set up

That's not possible. Her equipment with open trays of bubble juice cannot be left unattended. As CJ has a very full schedule, she will most likely be coming from another event.


Why do I need to let you know if I have booked other vendors/shows

The more information we all have better the party experience we can all create for yo So that we can all plan our set up/dismantle times, so we don’t interrupt other shows and activities.


I’ve got a Magician performing before CJ; can she set up in 5 minutes

CJ requires 10 minutes to set up her backdrop, lay down floor cloths, and then put her equipment on top. Prior to that she requires 15 minutes to set up here trolley and pour out all her liquids – she can do this off to one side.

Please also allow time for the other performer to clear away their equipment, before we are able to set up our19. s.

We recommend you give your guests a break in-between shows.  If kids have already been sitting down for 30 minutes they’ll get fidgety/hungry/require the toilet during the following show. If you give your guests 15 minutes break, that’s also enough time for the performers to break down and to set up for the next show – without your guests watching all of that mess.


How much time does CJ need to set up for her Outdoors Bubble Show

15 minutes


How much space does CJ require to perform her Outdoor Bubble Show

Minimum 3m x 5m.  The bigger the space the bigger the bubbles as they will have time to form and fly before they pop on something.

Do let us know if your ceiling is less than 3m high, as CJ’s giant nets and garland poles are 2.5-3m long.22.   


What if it rains during our Outdoor party

Please have a backup performance area. As this requires additional equipment, please inform CJ in advance if you think it will rain; i.e. early that morning or the day before.

If it rains during the performance, CJ will adjust accordingly and will try to accommodate changes as long as it’s safe to do so and that there are no other time constraint23. s.


Can we have our kid in a bubble during the outdoor show

Bubbles are very delicate and this activity requires still air, which rarely happens outdoors in Singapore. As it can’t be guaranteed we only offer this during our air con shows.


We only have an outdoor venue; can CJ’s Magical Bubble Show be performed outdoors

Non air con venues, always have a breeze and fans which will destroy delicate bubble sculptures. So CJ has a different show; her Outdoor Bubble Show, which she can perform for you.


We have a covered patio, balcony, pavilion; can CJ’s Magical Bubble Show be performed there instead

We class this type of venue as an outdoor venue. CJ can perform her outdoor show for you.

How much time do you need to set up for the Mini Skit/Theatre Shows

20-30 minutes


How much space do you require for the setup of the Mini Skit/Theatre Shows

About 3m x 3m

We’ll set up our backdrop with space for our performers to run behind, a performance space in front of that, then space for the kids to sit down on the floor too.


What do I need to provide for the Mini Skit/Theatre Shows

A large, clear space.


My venue is very small. I’m not sure there’s enough space for the show I want to book.

Please give us a call so we can chat about the best options for you.


Sound System

 

Do you provide a sound system for your parties and shows

Yes we do.


Can I use your sound system before the entertainment/show starts

Our entertainers bring the system with them, therefore we recommend you have your own system for music before we arrive and after we’ve left.


My venue is very noisy.

Please consider having another room for parents to chat in.  Parents are often more noisy than the kids and kids can have a hard time hearing the show or games instructions (even with our mics) over parents. 


Delivery

 

When will the furniture/carnival games/disco equipment be delivered

Anything from 2hrs to 30 minutes before your guests arrive.

Our delivery drivers require 30-60 minute windows for time for their delivery slots, just in case of bad weather/traffic.


When will the helium balloons be delivered

1.5hr-30 minutes before your guests arrive.


How will the helium balloons be delivered

In 1 big bunch for you to tie around your venue as you please. Alternatively ask for them to be placed in bunches on water weights.


When will the dessert table be set up

2hrs to 1.5hr before your guests arrive.


 Is the dessert table backdrop free standing

Yes


Will Fantasy Parties provide the table for the dessert table set up

Yes


When will you collect back the equipment

15-60 minutes after your party has finished.

Do let us know if your party finishes early – we’ll try to change our drivers schedule to arrive earlier.  But he/she could be on the other side of the island.

Do also let us know if there is another booking before or after yours at the venue you have booked, so that we don’t interrupt their booking.


Others / security

 

Why does Fantasy Parties need to know the start and finish time of my party/event

So we can plan backwards when to slot in the deliveries of your equipment.

Please let us know what is the earliest time and the latest time we can again access to your venue.


Why do we need to inform security that Fantasy Parties staff will be visiting site/require parking close to my venue

Some venues are very strict and require us to sign in or change pass with security. Or only use the service/fireman lifts.

Some only allow parking in certain area, which can be far away from your function room.  We need to know how much time to allot and how long it will take for us to push our trollies in.  Especially if we are wearing big princess dresses. LOL!


Terms & Conditions

Do you require a booking fee to confirm my party?

Yes, we require a non-refundable booking fee of $200.00 to reserve/confirm any slot.

Do you issue an invoice?

Yes, we will issue you with an invoice including all your party details. It will be emailed to you, for you to confirm.

When is the balance due?

The balance is to be paid by the day, prior to your party, to 'Fantasy Parties'.

CANCELLATION & POSTPONEMENT:

Please be advised the following cancellation charges will be levied as liquidated damages should the function be cancelled. ‘Fantasy Parties’ reserves the right to forfeit deposits held.

In addition, ‘Fantasy Parties’ will impose a cancellation charge as follows:

A) Between 21-8 days prior to function, cancellation charge of 50% of total expected event charges shall be incurred.

B) Within 7 days prior to function, cancellation charge of 75% of total expected event charges shall be incurred.
